Young People INC (YPINC): An ADHD course for parents / carers of secondary age children (12-17 years) with a diagnosis of ADHD
What is it?
Young People INC (YPINC) is a 7-week online course (1hr per week) or 5 week face to face course (2 hours per week) for parents / carers of teenagers with ADHD. On this course you will learn about ADHD; what it is and how it affects a young person’s thoughts, feelings and behaviour. You will learn how to support them to succeed and strategies to help you manage difficult behaviours that can happen.
Each week we discuss ideas and strategies and you will be asked to practice these at home between group sessions. This is important to help you to get the most benefit from the programme.
This course is for parents and carers and not for children and young people.
